Dometic Turbo Units (DTU) are direct replacements for all VTD (Marine Air vector turbo) units.

The Turbo series completely revolutionized self-contained cooling and heating with the newest innovations in air conditioning system design.
The rust-free molded composite drain pan has three drains for the rapid removal of condensate water. An advanced cushioning system results in quieter, virtually vibration-free operation.

The DTU Turbo series was recently re-engineered to harness and maximize the impressive performance of R-410A Refrigerant. R-410A is proven,
reliable, and complies with all EPA standards and is accepted world wide.

The centrifugal enclosed-motor, high-velocity blower can be rotated through 270° with one adjustment screw. The unit’s unique inlet ring is designed to optimize air flow and ensure that the height of the unit does not increase when the blower rotates.

Looking for a More Cost Effective Replacement A/C unit?

Dometic ECD Self Contained Units with Retrofit Kit (Unit, Cable and Control) replaces Most Older Marine Air Systems A/C units and controls. Call for details.

NEW! Marine Air Cuddy dc Kits This new low-profile 3500 BTU self-contained unit is made for boats too small for an onboard genset. It is powered by a user-provided dedicated power module.

NEW! Dash Air  This new unit is a breakthrough in self-contained air conditioning systems. The horizontal compressor requires only 8" height for installation for location on the flybridge, cockpit, or any height critcal areas. Dash Air systems are reverse cycle and are available in these capacities:  16,000 BTU (115V/60Hz) or 13,000 (230V/50Hz).

Split systems, also known as central systems, are normally used on vessels in the 45 to 75 foot range. Marine Air split systems run more quietly than most and keep noise levels to a comfortable minimum. Our central system condensing units are available in a range of capacities from 6,000 to 60,000 BTUs, and in both reverse cycle heat/cool and cool-only models. Complementary air handlers are also available from 4,000 to 48,000 BTUs.
